Kootenay Lake Hospital’s new CT scanner is an important investment in health care for our community.

Demand for CT exams in the Nelson area has nearly tripled over the past decade. Today, our CT service operates 24/7, providing imaging for emergency and non-emergency patient care. 

The Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation has committed to raising $270,000 for enhanced imaging software for the new scanner, and we need your support to make it happen. 

 The software will provide advanced cardiac and brain imaging, helping physicians make faster, more informed treatment decisions when every minute matters and lives are on the line. 

 Your support will help bring enhanced diagnostic technology to Kootenay Lake Hospital to provide the best possible care for our community. 

 Any funds raised in excess of our goal will be directed to the purchase of other priority medical equipment for Kootenay Lake Hospital.
