The Foundation’s Wall of Honour is a tribute to supporters of the hospital who have made a commitment over time to ensuring the vitality of our community hospital.

The Wall of Honour recognition levels are:

When the Foundation receives gifts in memory of an individual totaling $500 or more, they are recognized In Loving Memory.

Donors are recognized as Friends
when their cumulative donations are between $1,000 and $4,999.

Donors are recognized as Supporters
when their cumulative donations are between $5,000 and $24,999.

Donors are recognized as Builders
when their cumulative donations are between $25,000 and $49,999.

Donors are recognized as Cornerstones
when their cumulative donations are between $50,000 and $99,999.

Donors are recognized as Pillars when their cumulative donations reach or exceed $100,000.

Generous donors who help sustain our community hospital’s drive for medical equipment by joining CarePlan, the Foundation’s monthly donor club, are recognized as Benefactors to the View Street Pioneers Society.

When an individual graciously makes a planned gift to the Foundation, either to the Equipment Fund or to the Legacy Fund, the Foundation’s endowment fund, he/she is recognized as a Patron to the View Street Pioneers Society.

The Foundation recognizes businesses and service clubs as Caring Companies.
Any businesses or service clubs that donate to the Foundation during the calendar year will receive a framed certificate, with a sticker indicating the year and level of their donation, an invitation to the Caring Company Celebration in the spring, recognition on the Caring Company page of the Foundation’s website, and recognition in a full page thank you ad in the Nelson Star. Caring Company levels are:

  • Bronze     $250- $749
  • Silver       $750 – $2,499
  • Gold        $2,500 +
